Grandmother’s Prayers
An extraordinary 4-day/4-night immersion with Grandmother spiritual guardians, where we will learn to pray for the next generations, embody the sacred feminine energy of the Grandmothers, and deeply connect with the importance of ancestral traditions. Through their wisdom, we will explore how to nurture and pass down a livable and beautiful future, rooted in love, resilience, and the sacred care of the Earth.
Date: April 2025
Where: Hill Country, Texas, USA
“We, the grandmothers, are the protectors of the sacred fire. We hold the wisdom of our ancestors, and it is our responsibility to pass it down to the next generation.”
— Grandmother Flordemayo (Mayan)
"The future of our children lies in the hands of the grandmothers. We are the link between the past, the present, and the future." - Grandmother Cecelia (Lakota)
In this sacred gathering, the Grandmothers' wisdom will guide us to remember that there is no separation between ourselves and the land, between our hearts and the Earth. How we honor the water, the women, and all living beings is a reflection of how we honor ourselves. As stewards of ancestral wisdom, the grandmothers teach us that our relationship with the Earth shapes our relationship with each other and with the future. To heal the world, we must first heal within, making peace with the past so that we may walk in harmony and love, passing down a future that is rooted in beauty, balance, and reverence for all life.
