Lakota Small Farms
Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota
Lakota Small Farms is a food sovereignty and buffalo restoration project with two locations, one on the Rosebud South Dakota reservation and one in New Mexico, led by Chief Marvin Swallow and a global network of supporters. The project is dedicated to rebuilding local food systems and revitalizing traditional practices of agriculture and land stewardship among the Lakota people, specifically designed to inspire the youth.
